SMS Terms & Conditions — Forward Operators Group
Last Updated: July 26, 2026
Program name: FOG Duty Corpsman & Peer Support Messaging
Description. Forward Operators Group 501(c)3 (“FOG”) sends SMS text messages for two purposes: (1) operational duty alerts to our trained Help Squad volunteers, notifying them when a peer-support request needs coverage; and (2) peer-support replies to individuals who contact our warmline by text. This is not a marketing program.
How you opt in.
- Help Squad volunteers provide a mobile number and check an SMS consent box during volunteer onboarding, expressly agreeing to receive operational duty-alert texts.
- Warmline users opt in by sending a text message to our published support number; texting in constitutes consent to receive replies.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on peer-support demand and on-call coverage needs.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt out. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts.
Help. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact Admin@forwardoperatorsgroup.com.
Privacy. Mobile numbers and messaging consent are never shared or sold to third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any FOG service, membership, or donation.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
