1. About Our Services
Forward Operators Group is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing peer-to-peer support for veterans, service members, first responders, and their families. Our services include an online community, peer support programs, and a text-based peer support warmline. Our services are provided by trained volunteers and are offered free of charge.
FOG is not a crisis line, medical provider, or professional counseling service. Our peer support volunteers are not licensed clinicians. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 or the Veterans Crisis Line at 988 (press 1).
2. SMS / Text Messaging Terms of Service
Forward Operators Group operates a peer support warmline that community members may reach by text message at +1 (737) 284-0405.
- Program description: When you text our warmline, you will be connected with trained FOG peer support volunteers who respond to your outreach and coordinate follow-up support. This is a conversational support service initiated by you — it is not a marketing or promotional program.
- Opt-in: You opt in to receive messages by voluntarily texting our warmline number. You may also opt in by replying START.
- Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your support needs and conversation.
- Message and data rates may apply. Standard rates from your mobile carrier apply to all messages sent and received.
- Opt-out: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe and end all messaging. You will receive a final confirmation message.
- Help: Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at Admin@forwardoperatorsgroup.com.
- Privacy: Mobile phone numbers and messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
- Carriers: Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
3. Community Conduct
Members of our community, including our Discord server, agree to treat others with respect, protect the privacy of fellow members, and refrain from harassment, hate speech, or disruptive behavior. FOG reserves the right to remove any member who violates community standards.
4. Volunteer Peer Support Disclaimer
Peer support is provided by volunteers with lived experience, not licensed professionals. Information and support provided through FOG services do not constitute medical, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for decisions you make based on interactions with our community.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of Forward Operators Group 501(c)3 unless otherwise noted, and may not be reproduced without permission.
6. Donations
Donations to Forward Operators Group are voluntary and non-refundable. FOG is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit; donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
7. Limitation of Liability
FOG and its volunteers, directors, and officers are not liable for any damages arising from your use of our website, community, or peer support services, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
